We are celebrating that for our 2018 budget, 5 congregations and over 50 individuals contributed more than $17,000 to the ministry and community of WildWood Gathering! Together we are growing towards sustainability and we are excited for the ways that WildWood continues to develop and flourish.
We continue to meet weekly where we explored eco-theology, faith and doubt as a binary spectrum, and asked deep questions together. We started #WildDinners, a monthly potluck and Dinner Church. In August, we gathered outside at a local park where we swung on the swings and put our toes in the grass. Last spring we marched in the Olympia Pride Parade and invited people young and old to create mini prayer flags as a part of Olympia's Arts Walk. And, we had three babies born in our community this year!
Will you be a part of this vibrant community by becoming an Evergreen Supporter with a monthly reoccurring contribution for our 2019 budget? Your year-long commitment is helpful for our budgeting and planning, and of course we welcome your support anyway you are able to give. Your donation will be used towards rent of our gathering space, our website and social media presence, local community engagement, national church engagement, our Sunday Gatherings, and a Pastoral stipend. We are hoping to double our donor community this year with 100 individual supporters! Will you be one of them?
Together we are cultivating beloved community where everyone is invited to show up as their whole selves. Together we wrestle with questions about life, faith, doubt, and God while practicing vulnerability and bravery in authentic relationships. Thank you for being a part of this beloved community.
Blessings,
